Film Fest Time Again

Let's admit it.  All writers wish they were rock stars (this was confirmed by someone, but I don't remember who), and short of that, they wish they were somehow involved in film.  Some of them, in fact, even go so far as to get involved in film. For the rest of us, we eagerly await the annual Denver International Film Fest (written about in this bookby one of our members, Joey Porcelli). Last year we became community partners by sponsoring a viewing of The Last Romantic, about a young would-be poet wandering around New York City, not writing poetry.  Pretty funny stuff involving some trendy young actors who showed up for a Q & A at the end.  This year, we've sponsored the following two events, with a nod to the fact one is an adaptation of a kinda good book:
