Andrea Bobotis, PhD
Andrea Bobotis, a native of South Carolina, received her PhD in English Literature from the University of Virginia, where she was honored with the All-University Graduate Teaching Award. She has taught literature ranging from the Victorian novel to postcolonial women's writing, and her essays on Irish writers have appeared in journals and book collections, including Victorian Studies and the Irish University Review. Her short story, “Kudzu,” won second place in the 2015 Raymond Carver Short Story Contest, and her novel manuscript, The Middlings, won runner up for the 2014 James Jones First Novel Fellowship. She lives in Denver with her husband and daughter.
