Joslyn Green, PhD

A graduate of Bryn Mawr College in Russian and history, Joslyn holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Indiana University. She has taught at Indiana, the University of Missouri, Colorado College, and the University of Colorado. She has also written on, for instance, urban design, education, a Navajo weaver, Russian dumplings, and Somali refugees for publications like Edible Front Range, and High Country News. It follows that poetry drew her to Lighthouse Writers. (No, it doesn’t.) She now finds working on poems brings her the best--and worst--of times.
