Jessica Roeder, MFA

Jessica Roeder lives in Duluth, Minnesota. She grew up outside of Chicago and has lived in Colorado twice. In 2011, she was a McKnight Artist Fellow in creative prose. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in The Threepenny Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, Southwest Review, Denver Quarterly, Narrative, The Chattahoochee Review, Mid-American Review, The American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. Her fiction has earned her a Pushcart Prize, a Writers at Work fellowship, and a Loft-McKnight Award. She holds an MFA from the University of Florida and spends as much time as possible writing, teaching writing, and dancing. Her rabbit Brontë debuted at Disapproving Rabbits in early 2012.
