4-Week: Assembling a Short Story Collection

Do you have several (or dozens of) stories accumulating, but you’re not sure what to do with them or where you’re going? Are you wondering how to build toward a larger project? How do you determine what you already have and where you’re heading—and what you still need to get there? We’ll look at unifying elements that can link a collection together, from characters to settings, themes to voice, and discover what motifs you are already working with, and how to consciously cultivate your prospective direction.
