Making a Scene

What constitutes a great scene?  What are the essential elements that make it come to life?  How do we make sure that scenes develop character and advance plot?  How can you tell if yours are working?  In this discussion-and-exercise seminar we’ll examine the role of scenes in fiction, and learn how to charge ours up to engage  readers and keep the pages turning. A great class for nonfiction writers as well.
