Back-to-School Teacher Appreciation Party

Come join us for the giving of the Beacon Award at our faculty appreciation party! Expect the following: pizza, beer and wine, the veggies that Mom always chided you to eat, and a fun ceremony complete with a shiny award of some sort. (Glass obelisk? golden pyramid? Two-foot pewter pencil? Come down to find out.)
For those of you not in the know, the Beacon Award was created by students to honor a Lighthouse faculty member for teaching excellence, commitment to students, and dedication to the craft of writing. The initial Award went to novelist William Haywood Henderson, the second to screenwriter Alexandre O. Philippe, the third to fiction writer Paula Younger, the fourth to nonfiction writer Shari Caudron, and the fifth last year to poet David Rothman.
Come and find out who it'll be this year!

Tickets: $10 for members / $20 for non-members. (People can buy two, and if you're a member purchasing a second ticket for a spouse/partner, you can buy both at the $10 rate. All instructors are free.)
