This unique workshop will use abstract drawing and inspiring words to unlock new ways to creatively express yourself. By combining the power of words and visual arts, this camp invites participants to create medium-sized “poetraits” that captures the different perspectives of their identities and reflects what they find inspirational in their lives.
In this camp, we’ll create visual "poetraits" using various drawing techniques and original impactful text. Our final works of poetic art will explore personal themes such as identity, emotions, and community. The workshop is open to writers of all genres—no prior experience in poetry or visual arts is necessary. Together, we’ll create a unique art piece that combines poetic expression with visual elements! Come as you are, everyone is welcome!
