There are many ways to get involved at Lighthouse beyond long-term workshops. Maybe you will join us for our monthly writing challenge, Friday 500, or listen to a reading from a visiting author. We hope to see you soon!
Friday 500
Friday 500 is a free member event in which attendees are encouraged to write 500 words in the first hour and join us for happy hour after. Drinks and snacks are provided. This event is free for current Lighthouse members and guests are welcome to join for a $5 fee. You must RSVP to attend.
Visiting Authors Series
The Visiting Author Series brings recognized authors to Lighthouse to share their experience and advice, usually in the form of a two-hour craft talk followed by a reading and reception. Filter for "visiting authors" in the keyword box to see who's coming next.
Retreats
Lighthouse currently offers two annual writing retreats: Grand Lake, in the scenic mountain town of Grand Lake, Colorado, and the Rekindle Retreat in Juneau, Alaska.
