Lit Fest

Lit Fest is a two-week celebration of the art and craft of writing. There are weeklong and weekend workshops for advanced writers of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and dramatic writing; additional weekend workshops for writers of various levels and genres; one-time seminars on particular topics; readings; salons; and parties galore.

    Visiting Authors Series

The Visiting Author Series brings recognized authors to Lighthouse to share their experience and advice, usually in the form of a two-hour craft talk followed by a reading and reception. Filter for "visiting authors" in the keyword box to see who's coming next.

    Inside the Writer's Studio

Several times a year, Lighthouse Writers Workshop brings nationally recognized authors to Denver for exciting on-stage interviews and in-depth craft seminars.

Lighthouse currently offers two annual writing retreats: Grand Lake, in the scenic mountain town of Grand Lake, Colorado, and the Rekindle Retreat in Juneau, Alaska.

    Readings and Parties

At Lighthouse, you're always close to a good book or a fun event. Join us for our enriching visiting author series and book releases. And don't miss out on our annual fall bash, Illumination, A Literary Soirée, where we gather to support literature, celebrate Lighthouse, and enjoy each other's company!
