Poetry Fest 2025

Welcome back to Poetry Fest, a weekend meant to invigorate and inspire poets of all levels. Whether you write narrative poetry or experimental poetry or have no idea what kind of poetry you write, our craft seminars will deepen your understanding of craft and help you develop your lyric style. Our panels mix joy and wisdom and will leave you believing in the value of your work and armed with strategies to  find and guard your writing time! And our readings and social events will connect you to your poetic community.

Our special guest this year is Heather Christle, author of five books of poetry and two memoirs, who will be joined by Lighthouse faculty member Elizabeth Robinson for a lively onstage reading and conversation to celebrate the release of their new books. Craft seminars and panels will be led by Lighthouse favorites like Crisosto Apache, Dan Beachy-Quick, Alyse Knorr, Juan J. Morales, Emily Pérez, Andrea Rexilius, Elizabeth Robinson, Joy Roulier Sawyer, Suzi Q. Smith, and more.

You can participate in the whole weekend by buying a pass, or come to just a handful of things á la carte. Can't wait to see you there!
