In this virtual process-based Queer Creatives meetup, we'll swap tricks and tips for how to stay organized as writers. No matter where you fall on the organization spectrum—whether you're a procedural guru, have a phobia of spreadsheets, or can't even decipher your own handwriting—this meetup will help you figure out a system that works for you. Come ready to discuss your own organizational process (or lack thereof) and learn from others in community. Together, we'll run through different platforms, strategies, and technologies that can help build organizational containers around unruly creative practices, especially when working on book-length projects, and leave with new tools that help your creative practice.
Queer Creatives is a community writing program that aims to connect LGBTQIA+* writers and makers through collective story making and story sharing. LGBTQIA+ is an abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, and more. We also welcome folks who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation and those who are in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities.
