In A Field Guide to Getting Lost, Rebecca Solnit writes, “Lost [is] a state of mind, and this applies as much to all the metaphysical and metaphorical states of being lost as to blundering around in the backcountry. For this generative seminar, we will channel Solnit, John Keats, Benjamin Alire Saénz, and other writers to get lost in the woods, to go over the mysterious ridge ahead, to wander in our minds. Open to all writers of poetry, prose, and forms in between, we will find other ways to engage landscape as a means to embrace uncertainty in our stories.
