Alex knew he had to become a filmmaker when, at age thirteen, the local public access channel told him that his "ambitious" Late Night with David Letterman spec commercial wasn't a fit for their station.

Determined to have his revenge, he spent the first part of his career working as a technician in community television and radio broadcasting, and for the past eighteen years, he's brought other non-syndicated filmmakers' dreams to the silver screen as a film festival technical director and projectionist.

A writer of features films and pilots, his script, MARK OF THE BEAST, made the Top 50 in ISA's Fast Track Fellowship and was a finalist in Horror2Comic; semifinalist in ScreenCraft's Animation Competition, Script2Comic, Bahamas Screenwriters Residency, and Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards; and quarterfinalist in ScreenCraft's Comedy and Horror Competitions and the PAGE Awards.
