4-Week: Poetry for Foodies

Food and poetry. Both season our lives with delicious moments. Mix together these two rich ingredients and viola!—you’ll enjoy a taste of true magic. In this workshop, we’ll read and savor contemporary food poems by Joy Harjo, Kevin Young, Ellen Bass, Craig Arnold, and others, as well as whip up a few of our own. Participants can expect craft discussions, in-class writing time, and optional homework. Denver participants will meet together after our last class for a delectable dinner on the town.
