4-Week: Write a Sh!tty Screenplay in a Month

Have that burning script idea you've been dying to write but just haven't gotten around to it? Need a new script, a new project but are struggling to get something on the page? Come write a sh!tty script in four weeks! Learn how to power through just to get something on the page and embrace the not-so-beautifully-but-aptly-named barf draft! This course requires intense writing inside and outside of class with a strong one-month commitment. Plan to sacrifice some things for this month to just get a draft down. In class, we'll be reviewing weekly power points with writing faster tips, checking in on our progress, creating and reassessing our goals, writing in our "concerns journal" and our "to do list", and executing meaningful plans for the week ahead. Fiction and nonfiction writers are welcome, but know we'll be using mostly screenwriting examples and screenwriting techniques.
