4-Week: Writing in Unexpected Places

Sometimes we get stuck in our usual writing spaces and need a change of pace, but coffeeshops get old. In this class, the instructor will bring a group of writers to unusual writing locations in the Denver area—for example, on the stage at Red Rocks (which actually has public WiFi, fun fact!) or the lobby of DIA. Students will be given the "mystery" location before every class. Then, everybody will meet at the location and write in-class together for two hours. Participants can also expect weekly prompts, the opportunity to share work, and a half-hour discussion at the end of every session for first-blush feedback. Get ready to find your new favorite writing spot!
