Eudora Welty said: “Fiction depends for its life on place. Place is the crossroads of circumstance, the proving ground of What happened? Who’s here? Who’s coming?” This generative workshop—for fiction and nonfiction writers alike—will begin at Welty’s crossroads of circumstance and use place as a jumping off point for writing something vital.
