In this generative class, we'll remove the negative associations with grief and learn there is no wrong way to grieve. This complicated emotion will become more accessible as we traverse our own individual process through reading and writing exercises. Together, we'll write through the stages of grief as a community and discover peace, comfort, and connection. While this class may have therapeutic benefits, it is not considered a form of therapy and participants are encouraged to seek outside mental health resources for support as needed.
This course is part of our Writing for Wellness program, which focuses on the relationship between the creative act of writing and wellbeing. While we may look at craft during these programs, our focus will be on writing that supports ourselves as human beings.
