We're celebrating the conclusion of one of Lighthouse’s groundbreaking Community Engagement programs, Write to Connect, funded by Arts in Society! Join us after our July Friday 500 event as we celebrate the powerful and important creative expression of our Write to Connect participants. Open to staff members of Denver area social service organizations, Write to Connect workshops encourage direct service workers (case managers, advocates, therapists, etc.) to express their feelings and process the full range of their experiences through creative writing.
This celebration will feature information about the program, readings by Write to Connect participants, and distribution of the first ever Write to Connect Anthology! Write to Connect participants will be able to pick up their free copies of the anthology during the celebration. Additional copies will be available for purchase by participants and community members. Light refreshments will also be provided.
