4-Week: Writing the Experimental Novel

This class is geared towards writers writing toward a novel of any form. Your novel doesn’t need to be published as an experimental novel per se, rather, the novel should be treated as an experiment throughout our course together. This program focuses less on “finishing” and more on opening up the work outward: unsettling habits, deepening instinct, and generating new pathways through the novel when the process becomes stuck or static. Through generative exercises, sharing, first-blush feedback, and close reading, we will explore the possibilities of everything your novel can become.
