Crash Course—Writing and Performing Stand-up Comedy

This class gives writers a jumpstart into the what and how of stand-up with something a lot of comedians don’t have early in their careers: specific feedback, exercises to kick your writing into gear, and a supportive audience for your first time on stage. In this one-day crash course, you’ll learn some of the basics of how to write and perform, how stand-up works, and how you work in stand-up.
