Divination as a Creative Anchor: Tarot, Oracle, and the Stories Rising in Your Body
Writing in Color is a community writing program created by and for Black and Brown writers in Colorado and beyond. The goal of this program is to support BIPOC+ (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) writers and creatives as they focus on their writing practice by fostering a supportive and encouraging community. We ask that all participants be mindful of this intention; anyone who is disruptive may be asked to leave.
Pull a card. Write what arrives. In this Writing in Color Wayfinding Session, we’ll explore divination as a concrete creative tool for unlocking stories, building writing practice, and trusting your creative knowing. Using tarot, oracle, and Ancestor cards, participants will move through a guided practice and leave with a simple divination-to-writing protocol they can use anytime they need clarity or creative courage. No divination experience necessary. Just bring yourself and your readiness to write.
