McMeel on the Five Best Western Novels You've Never Read

Novelist and Lighthouse faculty member, Cortright McMeel, has a new blog on the interwebs. Named The Saloon - A Watering Hole for Literary Malcontents, it will likely be full of all the energy, literary intelligence, and boozy references that we expect from Cort. Right now you can check out The Best Five Westerns You've Never Read. Number one is Warlock, by Oakley Hall, and I can vouch for it, a truly great book that happens to be chockablock with cowboys and shootouts. As for the other four on Cort's list -- he's right, I've never read them. But now I'm looking forward to getting started.
