Being a person is hard, right? Being a creative person is incredibly hard. Add to these difficulties the fact that the world thrives on distracting and draining us, while also lobbing constant threats towards the Queer community, and there doesn’t seem to be much capacity left for our writing or our art. So how can we nourish our creative lives in spite of it all? Join Queer Creatives faculty members for a candid conversation about how they build (and maintain) a creative writing and artistic life.
This panel is part of the 2026 Queer Creatives Fest. Queer Creatives Fest is open to writers of all genres and creatives of all types who identify as members of LGBTQIA+ communities. We also welcome folks who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation and those who are in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities. Our intention is to center LGBTQIA+ people at the Fest.
