Queer Creatives is a community writing program that aims to connect LGBTQIA+* writers and makers through collective story making and story sharing. LGBTQIA+ is an abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, and more. We also welcome folks who are questioning their gender or sexual orientation and those who are in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities.
Looking to make new writing friends and get some words on the page? Join us in person for our July Queer Creatives meetup called Drafted Together. This month we'll be meeting in person at Lady Justice Brewing in Englewood! At this meetup, we'll come together as a community of LGBTQIA+ writers to create and build new connections. Our Drafted Together sessions will focus solely on spending time simply writing together and chatting about all things writing related. Sharing your work will be completely voluntary.
Maybe you'll meet your next writing group, start a new story, or edit a fresh poem. Maybe you'll finally finish revising that piece that's been sitting in your archives. Whatever your motivation, this space exists to support your writing journey and connect you with fellow LGBTQIA+ writers. No pressure—just creative community.
