On September 21, 2019, Lighthouse welcomed back former Denver Poet Laureate and Beacon Award for Excellence in Teaching instructor Chris Ransick for a book release and homecoming celebration. Chris read from his latest collection of poems, Mummer Prisoner Scavenger Thief, as well as from his numerous other books. Prior to the reading, we recorded a number of Chris's friends and former students reading their favorite poems of his; their recordings precede Chris's reading on this podcast, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
