Ashlan Christensen

Ashlan Christensen is a writer, educator, and media-devourer from Denver. They live with their partner and their goblin dog, Gigi. Ashlan studied creative writing at Seattle University and recently completed a Masters in Education at Regis University where they focused on anti-racist pedagogies. They love teaching about storytelling and helping young people share their ideas and hopes for the world. Writing primarily non-fiction and poetry, their work has been published in Staind, The Boiler Journal, and YES Poetry. Before they turn 30 they would love to learn to skateboard and finish a YA novel that has been a partial draft for years.
