4-Week: Creative Nonfiction 101

Interested in writing nonfiction but not sure where to start? This class is the place. In this four-week introductory course, you’ll be given the tools to kick-start—or reignite—your love of writing nonfiction: memoir, personal essay, narrative nonfiction, criticism, journalism, or any combination of these areas that suits your passion and talent. Through exercises, readings, discussions, and goal-setting, you’ll find new ways to draw from your own experiences and the world around you to find truths and capture them on the page. No experience required. Nonfiction 101 is a great way to warm up and test the waters before moving on to more advanced, specialized nonfiction classes and workshops.
