John Freeman is the editor of Freeman's, a literary biannual anthology of new writing, and executive editor of Literary Hub. His books include The Tyranny of Email, How to Read a Novelist, and Dictionary of the Undoing; two books of poems -- Maps and The Park -- as well as a trilogy of anthologies on inequality, which conclude this spring with Tales of Two Planets, a glimpse of the effect of our climate crisis on lives around the world. His work has been translated into twenty-four languages, and appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and Zyzzyva. The former editor of Granta, he is currently Artist in Residence at New York University.
