Radha Marcum, MFA, won the 2023 Washington Prize for her forthcoming collection, Pine Soot Tendon Bone (2024). She was also awarded the New Mexico Book Award in 2018 for her first collection of poems, Bloodline (3: A Taos Press), about her grandfather's work building the first atomic bombs in New Mexico during World War II. A poet with a keen interest in the landscapes of the physical world and of the mind, Radha has taught writing and literature at the University of Washington, Seattle and Rome, Italy; Front Range Community College; and the Lighthouse Writers Workshop. Her poems are featured in FIELD, West Branch, Pleiades, Gulf Coast, Chelsea, The Bellingham Review, Poetry Northwest, and the Taos Journal of International Poetry and Art, among other journals.
